Tyler Rivet is coming off the best finish in his two-plus-seasons Elite Series career. He finished 6th two weeks ago at Alabama’s Pickwick Lake. The Raceland, La., angler landed this 3 1/4-pounder about 7:30 today and has added another keeper to put him near the top of the early leaderboard. A 3-pounder at the Sabine River is equivalent to a 4- or 5-pounder at most of the other fisheries on the Elite Series tour.
