The Cooper River just keeps filling up. It appears as if virtually all the 30-plus boats we saw earlier head this way picked this upper part as their destination.
While most of us knew some would come this way, we all expected it to be the younger crowd. Those guys who haven’t wearied of beating up their bodies. But again, we are surprised. The last two arrivals are Tommy Biffle and Paul Elias. Their cumulative age would be that of four or five of these anglers we’ve seen put together.
Props to the old guys. Given Clunn’s win at St. Johns, this might be a trend.
