Jacob Powroznik left his shallow bay and went deep using a drop shot. He hooked up quickly, catching his biggest fish of the day, a 3-pound, 1-ouncer.
This is the same spot, right out in the middle of the lake at its widest point, where Powroznik found a big school in Round 1. At that time he caught three fish quickly, then laid off to save the fish for later in the tournament. That strategy is paying off today.
