A few minutes ago, Palaniuk decided to leave the flat and he boated near Christie. I don’t think he realized who it was until he got pretty close, the sun was right in his eyes.
Christie was in the middle of catching one and he quickly went to the deck to unhook yet another 3-pound fish that wouldn’t help.
He stayed that way for a few extra seconds, whether to not show his hand or not let Palaniuk see what he was catching.
Palaniuk moved on north after realizing Christie was there. But it was fun for a few seconds watching the gamesmanship in these events.
