Gary Klein moved south and is fishing near TVA’s famed Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant. It is TVA’s first and largest nuclear plant, and at the time it went online in 1974, it was the largest nuclear plant in the world. It is still the second largest electricity producing plant, of any kind, in the U.S. Browns Ferry has three boiling water reactors and today produces 10 percent of TVA’s electricity.
I remember at Chickamauga two years ago, Kevin VanDam, Russ Lane and Jeff Kriet catching a lot of big bass near the TVA nuclear plant on that Tennessee River reservoir. Will the same magic happen for Klein here today?
