No breeze for Rojas

Rojas has started in what has to be one of the few places on this river that’s out of the wind.

He’s fishing to his strengths, which is completely different than what we watched Piwroznik do this morning.

The timing appears to be perfect considering the wind has really picked up since the morning session. I’m not sure Powroznik could have stayed on his place so easily.

Another big change is boat traffic. There are hundreds of boats of every size speeding up and down the river. Their wakes combined with strong winds have created a very bumpy river.

It certainly will be challenging for anyone on a run and gun type pattern.

Hopefully Rojas isn’t. Either way this afternoon is a lot different than this morning. How that plays a part in the overall outcome of these matches can’t be speculated yet. But there’s a good chance it will play a part.
