Chad Morgenthaler has limited out, putting 16 1/2 pounds in his livewell for a solid foundation.
And he hasn’t moved more than 100 yards.
Bill Lotts of NY Northcountry Bassin Guide Service said it appears the Elite pro is targeting specific boulders just off a spawning bay.
And that makes sense, with Morgenthaler asking us to stay in water deeper than 30 feet while shooting his morning action (which will be on the site shortly).
“He’s targeting bass moving off the spawning flat as they move toward their summer haunts,” Lotts said. “Those fish will move more toward the points in the summer.”
