Lowen in the culling zone

Bill Lowen has caught several solid keepers and has now officially entered the culling zone. BASSTrakk shows him with 11-4 and sitting in third place. Lowen has been Steady Eddie in my five years covering the Elite Series. He seems to always be in contention. Currently he’s 15th in the Toyota Angler of the Year race, putting together a strong year and another Classic berth. He just caught another keeper in the 2 1/2-pound range, gaining valuable ounces in the livewell.
