Photographer Andy Crawford is following Brandon Lester this morning, and Lester is putting on a show. He’s caught 10 keepers already in the first 90 minutes of this tournament. He thinks he’s got about 14 pounds in his five-bass limit. When asked if he was surprised the bite was this good today early, Lester said, “A little bit. But I knew they’d be eating in these conditions.”
Lester also noted that where he’s catching them this morning was dry ground during practice Tuesday.
