The bite is few and far between for Shane LeHew this morning, but the size is quality. Currently sitting at 8 pounds total with 2 fish, he could definitely stay in the running with 3 more fish of the same size. He has dropped to 17th place for now, but a full bag of smallmouth of this size will tell a different story.
LeHew is sticking to open water with a drop shot. Fishing in 20 ft of water, he is using his Garmin Panoptix to spot fish and target them directly.
