Kato needs a kicker

Seiji Kato is one of the Japanese anglers in the Top 5 after Day 1 at the James River. He ended Thursday with 15-10 and was tied for 5th with Jake Whitaker. Another solid day will have him in the mix for a Top 12 opportunity.

So far he has four fish in the boat with most being in the 2-pound range, which isn't anything to shake a stick at this week.

Former Elite Series angler Rick Morris was in the vicinity and said he had a limit. He had 12-7 and was in 16th place, less than a pound out of the final day cut. With a limit in the box he went in search of a kicker to enhance his limit.
