Just pulled up on JVD, who is skipping floaters. He said he caught some big fish here during practice. However, the sun was much higher. He believes the school he found is likely scattered until the sun rises and pushes them under the structure. Under our boat are tornadoes of shad. The crystal clear water of Travis allows for incredible views beneath it’s surface. JVD just landed a small keeper ... his first of the day. If his plan plays out, the bites should start getting more frequent as the day goes on.
