We have a special treat today on the final day of practice for the Bassmaster Classic. Elite Series angler David Mullins is the boat driver for Steve Bowman and myself. Mullins isn’t fishing the Classic, but he drove down from his home in Kingsport, Tenn. to help us out and work for his sponsors at the Expo.
We’re currently positioned in the Concord area where a handful of Classic anglers are plying the banks and a large marina.
“Most of these guys fishing in here this morning didn’t necessarily plan to fish here,” said Mullins. “They’ve already found their key areas in the previous practices, but they’re working to expand and see if they missed anything.”
