Illinois State with three

Justin Schick and Tyler Rocke started Day 2 in 23rd and just 10 ounces from the Top 20, but today's change has them looking for a pattern.

"This lake has changed everyday," Rocke said. "Nothing has been the same. Earlier in the week we caught fish in 60 degree water on topwater. Now it's 52 degrees."

After talking with anglers it seems the only thing consistent right now at Lake of the Ozarks is that everything is inconsistent. The Illinois State teammates only have 3 small fish including a 12-inch spotted bass. That bag certainly won't get them to the final day and they know it. They had a big one on when I arrived and after fighting it towards the boat it came off.
