The third set of bridge pilings that Hite has fishing this morning has proven to be a hot spot. He filled out his limit at 10:30 with his third smallmouth bass from this area. It was a 3-2 giving him five bass totaling 12-7.
So what’s this bridge capable of producing?
“I had four for 11-12 yesterday, and I lost a three-pounder right off the bat,” Hite said before takeoff today. “So 12 to 15 pounds is definitely feasible. There are good, good quality fish there.”
He’s got two “quality fish” so far today, that last one, a 3-2, and his third one, a 3-6.
