After extensive consultation with the National Weather Service, Day 2 will be postponed until Saturday, June 24.
The decisions is based on forecast models and an elevated severe weather threat from the Storm Prediction Center.
Rain is predicted to start in the early morning hours. By 9 a.m., new storms that are predicted to be severe are expected to move through the area, perhaps bringing hail, tornadoes and straight-line winds. Weather forecasters are also calling for up to 5 inches of rain and localized flooding. Storms are forecast to continue until early evening. The storms should be out of here by tomorrow evening with a beautiful day on Saturday.
The full field will go out on Saturday at 5:30 a.m. Weigh-in will take place at Paris Landing State Park and we will crown a champion on Saturday.
