It is never over until the fish hit the scales at the end of the day, but Patrick Walters and Tyler All of South Carolina just put icing on the cake with a largemouth close to 5 pounds. It gave them a 2 1/2-pound cull roughly.
After a quick celebration he proceeded to catch a couple more fish that didn't help. Moments ago they boated a fish that looked to be pushing 4 pounds.
They are beyond any bag they've caught this week and are close to the biggest bag of the tournament. I'm sitting in a boat beside Walters' father and mother and we've figured the duo has a 5, 4 and three 2 1/2-pounders conservatively. That puts them near 16 if not more. Walters and All are certainly feeling good past the halfway point of the day.
