Fishing solo and flourishing

Tanner Ward of Kent State is fishing solo this week, but he’s not letting that slow him down. He opted to start on a spot yesterday before running to this area and it costed him. He only brought two fish to the scales because he caught the tail end of the schooling action. Today he knew what he had to do and he capitalized this morning. The schooling fish cooperated and he managed to land a limit by 8:15.

With only two fish he was sitting in 47th with 4-7. He was 5-9 from the Top 12 cut for tomorrow’s final day. A limit will help him make up ground for sure and maybe sneak into the final day.
