Don't fool yourself about Minnesota angler Seth Feider; he may be one of the top drop shottin' smallmouth fishermen on the planet, but he's very comfortable plucking pigs from the grass mat.
At the time of this writing he had one small fish, but that's a start and something to build on. He's good with a jig, good with a punch rig, good with a frog and he's not scared of dirty water.
So while he may be far removed from his pristine northern waters, Feider is right at home. I'd expect him to rise his continuing momentum to a quality finish here at Okeechobee.
