Overall, Day 2 was almost a repeat of Day 1 on the Sabine River. There were 504 bass weighed-in on Day 1 and 507 yesterday; 91 limits on Day 1, 88 yesterday; and Greg Hackney’s big bag of 16-3 on Day 1 was topped slightly by Steve Kennedy’s 16-5 on Day 2.
Over two days, 1,011 bass have been brought to the scales, which weighed a total of 1,639 pounds, 1 ounce, for an average weight of 1.64 pounds. When the average is that low, you can see why Brock Mosley’s 6-pound, 3-ounce big bass on Day 2 fueled his burst from 97th place to 8th yesterday.
