Takeoff is underway for Day 2 of the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series National Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops at the Harris Chain of Lakes.
The first boat took off at 7:30 a.m. from Venetian Gardens, and the first flight is due back in at 3:30 p.m. for weigh-in.
Cole Sands and Conner Dimauro from Bryan College lead the field of 119 boats after catching 28-7 on Day 1 in Lake Dora. Tyler Lubbat and Calvin Landsberg are second with 25-1 and Trevor McKinney and Blake Jackson round out the top three with 20-8.
The goal for teams today is to make it inside the Top 12 and qualifying for Championship Saturday. Stay tuned for some on the water action.
