On the surface, you know, the white-capping, increasingly muddy surface of Ross Barnett Reservoir, the second day of this tournament seemed significantly tougher than the first day.
While that was true for some individual anglers, it wasn’t markedly dissimilar overall to Day 1, as you can see from the chart below. The big distinction was at the top end, when there were no 20-pound bags weighed versus four on Thursday, and the biggest bass weighed was 5-12 by Jared Lintner after Brandon Lester caught a 7-2 on Day 1.
