Bruno and Kristoff take Hamarville on Allegheny River

The Keystone Bass Buddy Circuit made it's only visit this season to one of Pittsburgh's Three Rivers in the Harmarville pool of the Allegheny river. Fluctuating water levels in the rivers due to heavy rains in late June and early July made for some unpredictable conditions and patterns. Always a serious threat to win any river tournament, the team of Wayne Bruno and Keith Kristoff figured out how to catch them, winning first place with a six fish limit for 9.40 pounds.

The father and son team of Gus and Jason Kneidinger took second place with five fish for 9.26 pounds. In third place was K.B.B.C. tournament director Mike Kopelic and his partner Mark Town with a 7.64-pound limit. The big fish Lunker Prize went to Gary Carlin and Brad Capan, who caught a giant river smallmouth weighing 4.99 pounds.
