Anglers on the upswing, downswing in AOY

The in-tournament day-to-day movements in the Angler of the Year point standings can be much ado about nothing. The only AOY points an angler earns are based strictly on the final standings. However, these daily changes can indicate trends. With this being “the turn” in the 2020 Elite Series – the fifth tournament in a nine-tournament season – AOY fluctuations are increasingly noteworthy.
