Montgomery runs the bank

We have traveled to the far back end of a long creek on Lake Martin to find a pair of Classic champions. Kevin VanDam is 200 yards down the bank and Casey Ashley is right in front of us. Neither is a front runner this week. We mainly came in here to catch up with Andy Montgomery, who's in third right now with an unofficial weight of 26-8. He and Ashley exchanged greetings, and then Montgomery leapfrogged VanDam to hit a pocket on the other side of him. Montgomery is mixing it up, casting a moving bait along the bank and then switching to something slower working for lay downs. No fish catches since we arrived, but he's obviously onto something here, so we'll stick around.
