Adrian Avena just landed a 1 pound 3 ounce bass, and it took a while.The bass got hung up in a brush pile. Avena worked it slowly and carefully, and got it into the boat after about five minutes of effort. Avena is using six pound line so he couldn’t just yank on it.
“I can’t believe he got out,” said Avena. “Anything over a pound is a big fish here at this time of year. A 12 inch spotted bass has a mouth about the size of a penny.”
Avena now has two fish for 1-15.
