Takeoff
Takeoff will begin each day at Lake Conroe Park at 7:20 a.m. Boat demos are available immediately after takeoff from Mercury, Nitro, Skeeter, Triton and Yamaha. Registered boat demo participants will receive gift bags from the manufacturers including hats, information about the boats and motors and other various gifts. There will also be registration to win a daily gift card. Other sponsors, including Toyota, HUK Performance Fishing Gear and Power-Pole, will be on-site with gifts and apparel for sale.

Weigh-ins
Weigh-ins will take place at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, on March 24-26. Doors open at 3 p.m. for B.A.S.S. Life and Nation members and at 3:15 p.m. for the general public. (Life and Nation members should enter at the Right Field Gate entrance.)

Shell Bassmaster Get Hooked On Fishing presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors
The Classic is the biggest event in fishing. The 2017 event in Houston will include a new program - The Shell Bassmaster Get Hooked On Fishing presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors - and will be held in conjunction with the Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo presented by Dick's Sporting Goods, March 24-26 in front of the George R. Brown Convention Center. The program is designed to reach youth and their families, put rods and reels in the hands of hundreds of young anglers, and teach them about basic fishing knowledge, aquatic habitats, water stewardship and how-to skills.
Attractions and activities will include a kids fishing pond, interactive exhibits from Texas Parks & Wildlife and Coastal Conservation Association, appearances by renowned fishermen Pedro Sors and Billy Murray, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Paw Patrol, Bassmaster Casting Kids instruction, Learn From The Pros seminars, Dogs on the Dock jumping dogs, giveaways and much more. This event is free to the public.
