And now for our halftime report...

Different seasons test different things, and the 2013 Elite season looks like it's testing anglers' ability to bring five keepers to the scales. Here's where things stand at "halftime."

Toyota AOY Results

1st Place
Edwin Evers
Everyone expects Evers to win at least one AOY in his career. He was runner-up in 2010 and 2011 and has finished in the Top 10 five times. He's tremendously versatile and meticulous in his preparation. This could be his year.
2nd Place
Skeet Reese
Skeet Reese has been here before many times — challenging for the Toyota AOY title against Evers and VanDam. After two "sub-Skeet" years, he's back with a vengeance and ready to recapture the form he showed in 2007 when he won AOY.
3rd Place
Kevin VanDam
What can you say about KVD? More accurately, what can you not say? He's won Toyota AOY seven times, won the Bassmaster Classic four times and won 20 B.A.S.S. events. He is already the undisputed GOAT (greatest of all-time), and another AOY would just add to his incomparable legend.
