Takahiro Omori took the lead after 2 days of fishing on Lake Hartwell. See all the action Day 2 with Tak as the one time Classic champ competes for the 2015 GEICO Bassmaster Classic presented by GoPro title.
Here is the daily lull that we have talked about the last few days. The field has gone pretty quiet over the last 45 minutes. Some anglers are adding one fish and its a 3 or 4 pounder, but the numbers game has slowed significantly. It should pick up around the 1:30-2 p.m. time frame like it has each day.
After banging his lure into 10 docks in a row, the paint from Bobby Lane's jighead is surely gone. As soon as Lane regained his composure though, he set the hook on a 5-pound game changer. After an exciting fight he dropped it too in the livewell. He's cheering himself on now, saying "What a good decision," over and over and over again.

Dean Rojas is still looking for his fifth fish. He's been fishing many of the same pockets that he was hitting Friday and Saturday. He just entered another one of those coves, but instead of running straight to the docks, he pulled up about 100 yards offshore and now has his eye on his graph.
Powroznik ran about five miles and is now fishing far offshore with a dropshot rig.
