KISSIMMEE, Fla. — All it took was one victory. Takahiro Omori turned a victory in last July's CITGO Bassmaster Classic into a confidence-builder. The Japanese pro added another first-place trophy to his case on Sunday, winning the season-opening CITGO Bassmaster Tour event at central Florida's Lake Tohopekaliga. Omori took the tournament lead on the second day and was never really threatened, despite the fact that he caught only four fish on Sunday weighing 8 pounds, 1 ounce.
The following list of anglers have already qualified for this August's CITGO Bassmasters Classic in New Orleans, La. through the CITGO Bassmaster Open series which took place last fall.
