It was like this most of the way yesterday and I'm not even there yet.
Looks like the roads might make my trip interesting tomorrow...
Made it to my home away from home on Lake Guntersville just in time. Snow has just started coming down again.
I've got my ORCA coolers truck loaded up for the Bassmaster Classic! Snow or not, I'll be there!
...but it looks like the weather in north Georgia may not cooperate.
Packing up for Guntersville. Hoping I can beat the snow and ice tonight. I hope I won't need this ice rod any....LOL.
The defending Bassmaster Classic champion is "heartbroken" about not being able to compete at Guntersville or anywhere else this year.
In one of the most challenging Classics ever staged, Woo Daves, brought in a total of 14 bass weighing 27 pounds, 13 ounces. The 30th annual Classic Championship was held on July 20-22, 2000, on Lake Michigan.
We had some fun looking at a snowy Guntersville today. Meanwhile in Grove, Okla., the site of the 2013 Bassmaster Classic, it's an even more extreme weather situation. Anyone know where you can rent one of those cool ice breaking ships?
A friend of Tournament Director Trip Weldon sent in this picture of next week's take-off site at City Harbor in Guntersville. Hopefully next week's Day One will not look like this!
