The Thanksgiving Holiday is one of my favorites. It’s a time when the work load drops way off and gives me time to concentrate on family and friends. As busy as our travel schedule is the rest of the year, this is a time when I can really soak up the family life and enjoy time with people that I don’t get to see often. It’s also a time to reflect on things to be thankful for; I have an abundance of them, none the least of which is to have a career doing something that I love so much.

This is the time of year when we should all be thinking about the things we’re thankful for in our lives. I do that every year, not out of habit or duty, but because I think we should all take stock of what’s good with us and with those we love and care about.
I’m in the office working today. I was going to call this column "Stuff and Thanksgiving," but that would imply there’s a limit to what I have to do so I decided to create a new word that’ll describe how far behind I am — stuffs. It means stuff that never ends.
I know that the “this is what I’m thankful for” column at this time of year is a little bit clichéd and perhaps more often than not a bit contrived, but I’m going to go on with it anyway.
