Well, the talk that I gave at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center last week went really well. It was a lot of fun and I learned a bunch of good stuff. It was a different forum than I was expecting, too.
Every time you go fishing, you have a story of a huge one that got away. You remember those stories just as much as you remember the 9-pounder you caught.
Last night we saw the Texas Rangers stomp the Oakland Athletics 7-4 and retain their lead in the AL West. During the 7th inning stretch, six people in my section lined up and asked for my autograph right there in the ballpark.
