Conventional wisdom isn't
If you hang around enough tournament weigh ins, you'll hear all kinds of ideas and theories. Some are obviously correct, some are remarkably stupid, and some are up for grabs — they require more information or research before being lumped into one of the first two categories.

Fun and frustration
The Florida swing is history. Speaking for myself, I'm sad to see it go. I haven't caught a bass outside of the Sunshine State since before Thanksgiving, and that's just fine with me.
St. Johns delivers!
There is always disappointment when you're leading a tournament and then don't win, but especially when you lead the whole thing and fall to third. I want to win every event that I fish, but losing in a situation like this is tough.

The St. Johns River event is over. I can't tell you how happy it makes me to say that. My problems started the first day of practice.
