A light but 12-inch fish just entered the boat of Coby Carden. It's not much by itself, but coupled with Coby's near-5-pound lead, it's a huge step in the right direction. He now has 2 for around 2-pounds. If he can secure a limit weighing just 5-pounds, the pressure will definitely be on Jeff Lugar who currently sits in second and would need his biggest bag of the week to overtake Coby at that point.
Coby Carden has one little keeper. He's been here 20 minutes and is not happy with how things are here. We're just under the D'arbonne spillway where he spent most of his day yesterday. "Shad aren't here, drum aren't here, stripe aren't here and the bass aren't here. Yesterday there were shad coming over the spillway and I haven't seen any of that today either."
It's the last day on the Ouachita River, and anglers are scrambling to either maintain the lead they've got or to catch up from their last two days' performance.
Levi McNeil and Daniel Gray double up on the last day. After Ken Golub's boat was damaged by the treacherous stumps of the Ouachita River, he jumps in the boat with Earl Conway to fish the last day of the B.A.S.S. Nation Championship.
