The first three practice days for the Bassmaster Classic are going to be really important. I have three good areas isolated and marked. I'll devote one day to each of the three areas. When I'm done, I'll know them like I know my backyard at home.

Hey guys, several of you have asked me why I spent two weeks on the Delta this winter. Here's the answer: Part of it is because I really want to win this year. Classic opportunities only come along so often. You have to take full advantage of them.

I'm still on the Delta getting ready for February. I wish I could report I'm catching a lot of big ones, but the truth is I'm spending about 80 percent of my time eliminating water. That's not all bad, though.
