As recipients of a More Fish Initiative 2007 grant, the South Carolina and Georgia BASS Federation Nations, in partnership with the South Carolina and Georgia Departments of Natural Resources (DNR) and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), are implementing a strategy which began Summer 2007 to restore aquatic vegetation on lakes Hartwell and Russell.
