Davis can't win it today but he could lose it

Apr 5, 2014

Mark Davis the Mount Ida, Arkansas pro just caught 2 more non keepers. He's in search of bigger fish. There's a little breeze gently rippling the water now.

Ike with No. 3

Apr 5, 2014

Ike had keeper No. 3. He's lost two good ones in the last 30 minutes, but made a move to the dirty water and now he's working it out.

Davis catching lots of fish

Apr 5, 2014

I'm a big fan of the country song "Sunny and 75." Well, it's sunny and 39 here on Table Rock Lake. But I'm not complaining. The fog has burned off and there's very little wind.   We've followed Mark Davis across the lake into a pretty little cove with lots of timber around the edges. Mark has caught three fish already here, and culled with one of them, for 9 or 10 pounds in his livewell.   I bet we've seen him catch 20 fish today. Now he just needs to catch some bigger fish.

Palaniuk on the move

Apr 5, 2014

Brandon Palaniuk  just boated his first 1.5 pounds. He tells me take many local anglers are hitting the same spots that he is targeting today. Therefore, he has been on the move. The fog has mostly burned off.
