Like most other competitors, he's had a few locals fishing his spots in the same manner, but he's not bothered by it. "I'm just looking for a few big bites, ya know what I mean?" he asked rhetorically.

After each of the first two days, Dean Rojas said he was "scared to death" about being able to repeat his success the next day. Saturday his mood had shifted to confidence. Today marks the fourth morning in a row when Rojas has blanked. He just put his first bass in the boat at 10:05, and it had to go on the measuring board first.
