This will be the 43rd B.A.S.S. event held in New York, ranking the state fourth for most B.A.S.S. tournaments in history behind Alabama (101), Florida (72) and Texas (60). Despite the frequency of visits, though, only one New York resident has ever won a B.A.S.S. tournament. Randy Yager of Syracuse won an Eastern Invitational in 2000 ... on Florida's Lake Okeechobee.
