BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Alabama B.A.S.S. Nation has been working with Alabama Power Co. to develop projects on lakes owned by the utility. Projects include habitat improvement, access, fish management (such as live release boats) and state-of-the-art weigh-in facilities. This project has been an ongoing activity. Eddie Plemons, Alabama B.A.S.S. Nation president, and two other volunteers contributed 16 man-hours to the project in 2012.
This 15,263-acre impoundment on the Coosa River is about 30 miles east of Birmingham and directly below Neely Henry.
