There are highs, and there are lows. Cliff Crochet, who was in third place beginning this tournament on the Sabine River, seemed to struggle on Saturday, with the same backwater bite he had the past two days being non-productive today. Crochet flipped incessantly upon the banks of his fishery, but it was a hard bite for him. When we last saw him, he didn't have a keeper bite.

James Niggemeyer is floating south on this backwater. Looks like the rest of the guys who were here are ready to make their way back to Orange.
Scroggins is still looking to fill his limit. He just boated a 2 1/2-ponder fish for No. 3 of the day. He has his head down and is fishing hard on the Calcasieu River.
