Kota Kiriyama just caught his 4th keeper. And it is a true giant! It took 7 minutes to hug this monster. He needs one more big one for a great day. From Kentaro Amagai, Basser magazine

My boat driver for the day was Steve, who is a tow truck driver by night, bass fisherman by day. He gets off work at 7am, and he is on Lake St. Clair by 8. I can tell you one other thing about Steve- he likes going really fast and thinks its hilarious to terrify Alabama web designers who find themselves in a bass boat on Lake St. Clair. I would summarize my time as "choppy" but Steve said that it was pretty calm.
Kevin VanDam and Jonathon VanDam are fishing 100 feet apart in 13 feet of water not far from the launch location. KVD makes cast after cast.
Just watched Jonathan VanDam have an epic struggle with.... a muskie. He says he has two bass in the boat. His uncle, Kevin VanDam, left this area of Lake St. Clair, but other Elite anglers have shown up. BJ Haseotes and Bobby Lane are in the area. Cliff Prince drifts by and says he has about 13.5. JVD jokes they need some live bait like all the other weekenders they are surrounded by. Here's Prince and JVD having a powwow.
