Stephen Johnston abandoned his preferred pattern during the second day of the Bassmaster Central Open on Sam Rayburn. When the scales settled, the local guide had clinched his first Bassmaster victory with a three-day total of 57 pounds, 5 ounces.
Sam Rayburn's a grass lake, so most of the fishing will be centered around bass relating to the hydrilla in the lake.
