January 17, 2001 was a day for the record books. It was the first day of the Florida Bassmaster Top 150 tournament on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes, and conditions were right.

Mark Davis recalls the flight home after his 1995 Bassmaster Classic win. He was seated next to the same lady who was the year before sat next to the 1994 Bassmaster Classic winner Bryan Kerchal. Byan was killed in an airplane crash months before.
