Saturday and Sunday, the Eukanuba Super Dock dog-jumping contest will take place outside the New Orleans Arena at the main entrance.
Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, dogs can be registered on site for the competition. No experience is required to enter the Junior Flyers qualifier for age 15 and under, according to Brent Ohlson, emcee for the event.
“We are inviting every local owner to bring their dogs out, whether their dogs have done this before or not, whether their dogs can jump 2 feet or 15 feet,” said Ohlson. Parts of the events will be streamed live at EukanubaSuperDock.com and at Bassmaster.com. Prizes will be awarded. More information is available at the Super Dock website.
