Go Go Gomez, Youth Director for New Jersey, presented each angler and each adult boater with a gift to show his appreciation for their efforts. The gifts were paid for in part by Less For Gifts By AV Paterson.
This group of 18 — 12 anglers and 6 adult boaters — are having a good time, although most of them would probably rather be out fishing.
The ramp at Sylvan Lake is small and narrow when compared to most ramps. Still, with hard work and patience all the boats were launched without incident.
If you compare this with the photos taken of the Delaware River you’ll quickly understand the change of venue.
The adult boaters have it easy for this youth event. With the lake being electric only about all they’ll have to do is sit and work on their tan.
