Combs puts down the crankbait for a moment and fishes a 10-inch worm. He immedately hooks up with a 5-pounder for the first keeper of day three. Now Shryock has left, and the local anglers are giving Combs a bit more elbow room. More spectator boats --10 or so --have settled in.
Cliff Prince is currently working an area in sight of Falcon Dam and has a 4- and 2-pouner in the boat. He’s working a Bomber Fat Free Shad and a spinnerbait around a set of trees surrounded by grass. We saw Clark Reehm fishing this same spot yesterday. It’s shallow hump surrounded by deeper water.
Rick Clunn pulls in his second fish and loads up on another 6.5 to 7-pounder. Photo taken by Kyle Swearingen.
It's down to the Top 50 now. Watch as they get ready for the action this morning.
