After the takeoff, I was working on my launch photo gallery before hitting the water. I found Shane Powell right outside of takeoff and he already had a fish. The TV cameraman said he has one fish, about 4 pounds. As I got ready to shoot a photo, he decide to go to his primary spot. Now I am following him, going to up river. Good start for him.
I'm Shane Powell's cameraman for the day, and he's off to a good start. We're making a run now after starting near the ramp where he had only one bite. But this bite is the kind he needs. She'll push 4-pounds and needless to say Shane was a little excited when he put her in the boat. A bite like that goes a long way on a fishery like this. Especially in these post front conditions.
