BASS Conservation: 2007, A year in review

2007 was a successful year for the resource and the angler

Each January I am asked to put together a list of the BASS Conservation program's accomplishments for the previous year. Although it is a pain to spend multiple hours sorting through old documents, e-mails and notes, I have come to appreciate this drill every year. Too often, we tend to dwell on the challenges that we currently face without taking time to recognize our successes.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of the BASS Federation Nations and the support from our other BASS members, 2007 was a successful year for the resource and the angler. I thought I'd share some of those success stories with you, and hope that you will be as pleased and impressed as I was.
